ITV to show live coverage and highlights of La Liga from this weekend til the end of season.— Steve Scott (@stevescott_itv) February 22, 2019The deal will come as a major coup for the company as viewers in the United Kingdom can only watch the action if they have a subscription to Eleven Sports this term.A yearly subscription to Eleven Sports costs 49.99 per year – and this new deal will save many LaLiga enthusiasts in the UK from paying the hefty fee. One game will be shown a week, starting with the European champions’ visit to Levante on Sunday – but other high-profile clashes such as the El Clasico are set to be aired on the channel.Sky Sports used to broadcast the action but ended their deal when they were unwilling to extend their 18million-a-year contract to show the games.
